Primary Provider

I am a board certified nurse practitioner, in family and psychiatric mental health. I have over 25 years experience working in a variety of settings, including pediatrics, emergency, orthopedics, primary care and behavioral health. I work with all ages of the life span but especially enjoy working with children and adolescents.

I earned my Bachelor of Science in Nursing from University of Maryland and Master's degree from Bowie State University. Because of my intense interest in behavioral health, I obtained a Post-Master's Certificate from the Christian based Liberty University in psychiatric mental health across the lifespan. 

I am non-judgmental, honoring honesty, trust and respect for a truly therapeutic relationship. I utilize evidence-based, holistic, therapies,  for mutually agreed upon treatments.

I am an empathetic practitioner practicing  Motivational Interviewing, Problem-Solving treatment, Cognitive Behavioral Therapy along with medication management to treat the whole person or family members. 

I am a member of the Nurse Practitioners Association of Maryland.
